New Title Submissions
Castlebridge Books is a small children's publisher and releases between 40 and 60 new titles per year. We are currently accepting story submission for publishing in the following categories:

• Picture Books
• Early Readers/Easy Readers

Submissions Should Include:    (Note: Electronic submissions are not accepted.)

• Cover Letter - Include any notable points about the concept, author, subject matter, and market. Ensure all contact info including phone number and email is on the cover letter.
  
• Manuscript or Query Letter - Send full manuscript for any story under 1700 words, otherwise send a query letter/summary.
• Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope - Standard business letter size please. Allow up to 4 months for a response.

Common Questions:

Can I send more than 1 story per packet?
Yes, but please include a separate cover letter and SASE per story. Once in our offices, the stories will likely take different paths.

Can I send illustrations?
Yes. If you are an author/illustrator and have already completed illustrations for the book, we would like to see those. Authors who have commissioned art can also send that art. CD or printouts are fine.

Should I register my story with the U.S. Copyright Office before sending it?
No. Copyrighting is the responsibility of the publisher. Your intellectual property will be safe.
